About Daniel Mahony
After graduating with an LLB in 1996 from Plymouth, Daniel embarked on a successful career in telecoms. Starting at Telewest (now Virgin Media’s) head office in Woking, Daniel moved from there to Level 3 Communications, a US-based internet infrastructure provider, and led the European billing team in Paris, Amsterdam, Brussels and Frankfurt.
Having completed a migration project from Europe to Denver, Colorado in 2006, Daniel decided to take a break from the big corporates and accepted the invitation to join his former colleagues from Telewest who had established their own niche, business-to-business telecoms company.
In 2019, Daniel refreshed his knowledge of the law by sitting the Graduate Diploma in Law at the University of Law and graduated with a distinction in his Legal Practice Course in June in 2021.
In September 2022, Daniel started his two year Notarial Practice Course at the University College of London. Having passed all his exams on the Notarial Practice Course, he was admitted to the roll of Notary Public by the Faculty Office of the Archbishop of Canterbury in July 2024.
Daniel’s passion for the law, and his attentive and approachable nature has made him a favourite with the firm’s clients.
Outside of work, Daniel is a keen cyclist and regularly undertakes charity rides, most recently Land’s End to John O’Groats for the third time, to raise money for research into Parkinson’s disease which has affected members of his family.
