Head of Litigation and Employment Law
Jonathan studied for his first degree in Theology at Kings College, London, graduating in 2009 with a 2.1. He then went on to obtain his Bachelors degree in law with a 2.1 at BPP University in 2012.
Jonathan then completed his LPC at the University of Law in 2013, followed by a Masters degree in law at the same institution in 2014, for which he was awarded a First Class Honours. In 2023, Jonathan was appointed an Associate of King’s College.
Before becoming a lawyer, between 2009 and 2012, Jonathan worked as a speechwriter and researcher in the Houses of Parliament. Jonathan was admitted to the roll of solicitors in 2015 and was granted the Higher Rights of Audience (Civil) as a solicitor-advocate in the same year. In 2023, Jonathan was granted Higher Rights of Audience (Criminal). Jonathan became a Member of Lincoln’s Inn in 2024 and was called to the Bar in 2025.
Jonathan specialises in commercial litigation and employment law and has been instructed in the Court of Appeal, the High Court, the County Court, Employment Tribunal, Land Tribunal and Competition Appeal Tribunal.
In addition to his academic achievements and a successful career, Jonathan has received law awards from various national bodies including at the Modern Law Awards in 2015, the Law Society Excellence Awards in 2015, 2017, and 2019, and the Solicitors’ Journal Awards in 2019.
Jonathan joined Lester Dominic as the Head of Litigation and Employment in January 2024.
